I am thinking of applying for a masters in genetic councelling. I would have to do the course in england as there is no courses of that sort in Ireland and I am just wondering if anyone knows what jobs prospects in Ireland are like for this career as I can't find any positions of this sort.

Given that the HSE are largely in recruitment freeze mode I would wager that the job opportunities here would be very poor.
I think the folks on the Medical Sciences forum would be far better positioned to give you a reliable answer.

Agreed ... moving the thread. HS mods, move it back if you don't want it!
