    spotted this

    http://www.crazydeals.ie/index.php?deal_id=111&referer=http://www.mydealpage.ie/

also posted in Bargain Alerts here

Anyone think its OK - looks ok to me. maybe a good present for teenager this Christmas. Was thinking of spending about 150 on presents for the daughter but this would tick a lot of boxes for her.

Do you think its ok for the price? Running Gingerbread which I know t'aint tablet optimised and would be keen to ensure it has access to the Android Market. So just want to get some feedback on it please

Teenager would be using it for Web browsing, Facebook, maybe Google hangouts or Skype and downloading stuff from the Market e.g. Google Gmail app, Google Translate etc etc

You are basically getting what you pay for.

It is a good price, but there are a few caveats.

There does not appear to be a lot of memory, 1Gb, according to the above, so you would have to buy a memory card to put anything on it.

And there are no cameras on it, and I don't see anything about a microphone, so it wouldn't be much good for Skype (don't see that it could actually take a microphone).

So as a media player/browser, it would be fine. Anything more, I wouldn't be so sure.

Looks like it is this http://www.nextbookusa.com/productdetail.php?product_id=8
Has a camera and mic has 4Gb internal storage and SD card slot can take up to 32Gb
not sure about Android market but I wonder if I can just load up the .apk and get it working as it looks like most devices now take the market app.
Seems a good bit of kit for the price but over on Bargain Alerts people are worried we will be stung for VAT. I have emailed the supplier and he is getting back to me today

Hang on, that's different to what was originally in your link in the first post.

That one looks a lot better.

Hi I know very little about tablets but I would love to buy one and I was looking at the premium 8 model on crazy deals too. I also came accross another on on ebay 'the flytouch 6 wopad'

    http://www.ebay.ie/itm/10-Flytouch-6-V10-Tablet-PC-8GB-Android-2-3-WIFI-GPS-Camera-3G-/280771503795?pt=UK_iPad_Tablets_eReaders&hash=item415f4926b3

The one thing I noticed about this one is the camera is only .3mp. Is this really poor?

Any advise on which one to buy would be great. many thanks
