'No SIM Card' when there is!!

    Hi,

iPhone 3Gs is saying there is no SIM card when there is. Phone was working fine one minute then the next minute this happened.

The SIM is recognisable in other phones, so I'm guessing there's a problem with the iPhone itself. I tried putting another SIM in and it doesn't recognise that either. Is this typically a software fault that a restore can fix?

Or is there some internal problem that needs to be replaced / fixed?

    Thanks.
