Postal Order

    I'm planning on ordering something online tomorrow and one of the methods of payment is a postal order. I'm going to pay for first class postage for the product. How long would it take for the person that i'm buying from to recieve the postal order?

    How long is a piece of string? Where you are, where the seller is, where you post from and what time the collections are done are all factors in this, and no one can give you an accurate answer anyway.

    Since you mention first class post I assume the UK is involved somewhere here since we don't have varying classes of post here. You cannot send a PO to the UK as it won't be accepted. You need a bank draft. Clearance time on a draft can be quite long, and because of fraud the seller is likely to hold on shipping for 1-2 weeks minimum.

    Buying remotely with a bank draft or postal order is a bad idea.
