    Hey,
Wondering if any of you guys could point me in the right direction.
I'm looking for art/drawing lessons for a adult beginner in the Dublin area.
I'd also be willing to travel within reason.

I'm looking for one on one tuition with the gold to develop (somewhat) strong drawing skills.

If you are interested or have any useful information I'd be grateful.

+ not to state the obvious, but I'm also willing to pay a decent fee for the service.

    Thanks.

Well it would seem that no one is offering one on one lessons, so can anyone help me out with info on group classes?

Wait for a few more days here and someone might be able to help you.

You could also try Creative Ireland website - perhaps you might get more answers there?

This question has been asked before - if you do a quick search of this forum you should find some helpful replies. Offhand I know that the classes run by the Trinity Arts Workshop are great.
Dublin Sketchers are good if you'd like to join similar minded people on a Sunday - no tuition though, just friendly advice!

I would advise buying a fantastic book called
The New Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain by Betty Edwards

This book is fantastic and it will turn your world upside down regarding drawing. It is the best learn to draw book that you could ever read. I went to BCFE art , and I learned more from this book than any drawing class. You can buy it in any bookshop and this will open your eyes to new ways of thinking as well.

My wife is a professional artist, not Irish, and would be interested in teaching.
Send me a message if you are interested.

I teach watercolour on a one to one basis, but my primary mediums are pencil and soft pastels.
I live in Co. Kildare and would be willing to travel to South Dublin.
