Can anyone advise where I might be able to get a good quality Freeview box that has an HDD recording facility on it?

I currently have a Triax box that the installer of my system supplied.

Just to clarify which service you require Freeview for the UK channels via an aerial, Saorview for the Irish channels via an aerial or Freesat for the UK channels via a satellite dish?

If its Freeview via an aerial rather than Freesat via a dish then you could try using the Sony FreeviewHD + HDT500 Twin Tuner. My summary is here - http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056437493 (see posts 8/9 and 15).
It has Freeview (UK DTT) and Saorview (ROI DTT) all in one epg and with a twin tuner. It will record Freeview and Saorview to an internal HD. The main drawback I have discovered is inability to timer record one programme from each system at the same time. Only way round this is I have found is to record directly/manually.
