    Product_detail_Wk47S_12.jpg
    • Aluminium housing (Anthracite or Black)
    • Impact and weather resistant
    • 3 switch positions: full luminosity (100%), reduced luminosity (50%), automatic SOS flashing function
    • Strap and pouch included

It uses 3xAAA batteries btw. Comes with 3 alkalines, but will run fine on rechargables. Nice torch with beam focus and sos.
Very well built. Nice little stocking filler . €12.99

Link thankfully says it uses AAs.:)

Real pita why so many things use AAAs when they are more expensive, one third the capacity and useless for anything drawing much power.

A torch bargain alert from the darkmaster2! Why would a darkmaster need a torch? Ha ha

I would just leave this link here: http://www.dealextreme.com/p/9-led-flashlight-20000mcd-2-pack-1255

Not one but TWO kick ass flashlights for less than a fiver! :D

While we are at it some Euro shops such as Camden Casket on Camden St, Dublin have a cheap but powerful 3 LED torch for 1.50.
Takes 2 D type batteries. Black plastic and light silver metal contruction like torches of yore but LED.
Slightly low temp white but more powerful than most. Certainly worth the 1.50. Gives a tighter brighter beam than my 24 LED torch.
D batteries mean long lasting and weighty but less "loseable".

Yup, Deal extreme is where it's at, I have a couple of their cree torches. I just posted the link so the average person would buy themselves a half decent little torch when out shoppin. :p

I'm trying to find out the best cree torch/battery combo from dealextreame at the moment for my xmas present. hehe. Anyone else addicted to torches and lazer gadgets? :o

They look exactly like something I have here, but in silver. Bought it for €15 in a petrol station. Great light out of it, and super build quality, but AAAs so the batteries don't last that long.

yeah, I always buy from dealextreme, everything goes well, does someone has the experience with focalprice,I see there are many decent lights on it, but I dont know whether they are good enough

I have bought from DX, Focalprice and BuyInCoins, and have had positive experiences in every case. My most recent purchase from BiC was delivered within 10 days.
Bear in mind that you are not getting premium products, and you won't be disappointed. I have a little aluminium CREE torch I bought from either DX or Focalprice that I use on my bike. It's no LED Lenser, but for $5 delivered, it's amazing value.

I'm afraid I'm guilty. Most people think I'm slightly mad having more than one torch. The brightest I've found so far for relatively little money is a 220 Lumen job from DX. The only downside is a runtime of about 30min.

I've tried too many from EX to count.
This one is a serious bargain and especially bright on 14500 lithium batteries

    http://www.dealextreme.com/p/sipik-sk68-cree-q3-wc-120-lumen-convex-lens-led-flashlight-grey-1-aa-1-14500-39584

It had a convex lens so you can focus the beam from spot to flood and it had serious range when on spot.
Pick up some protected 14500 batteries and a charger on DX to do it justice.
Handy knowing it'll take ordinary AAs if stuck.
