    Specs: Intel® Core™ i5-2410M Dual Core Processor, 15.6" HD Screen, Windows 7 Home Premium Edition 64-bit, 8GB DDR3 RAM, 750GB HDD, DVD Rewriter, Webcam & HDMI, Bluetooth & Finger Print Reader, 1GB NVIDIA® GeForce® 410M

Comes in as about €615 delivered.

Is it a good deal for some gaming like Portal, Half Life 2, Fifa 12 etc.

Not stuff like crysis 2 or really high end games like that.

Also be used for lots of video editing, photoshop, dreamweaver etc. for college, music management and production using ableton, and I will create a partition for my DJing part time job in college.

Is it a bit overkill for my needs, or will it last me a good 4 or 5 years with those current specs? Will there be a 3rd gen i5 out soon though?

I was also considering this Lenovo G570 for about €475 delivered. Better deal?

    Thoughts or recommendations? Cheers

Macbooks are way out my price range also.
