    Hi Corkman,

Had not really thought about a figure as yet. Have not been able to bring myself to make the decision to sell as I like the frame so much - however I have not being using it as it is a bit too big for me. The full bike brand new was about €5k or so, but it is a few years old, I suppose €1,100

The spec as it is built is:

The bike is a 2005 Litespeed Vortex 57cm frame –

Groupset is full Dura-Ace 10 speed
The Chainset is a standard double – 53 / 39 which has seen little use, Mr. Skeff built it up and thinks that there is another few years in it
The cassette is a 25 – 12, used but in good working order
The Shifters are used but work perfectly
The Front derailleur is used and would be the only thing that I think would needs replacing soon
The RD is in perfect working order, a few scratches
The brakes are perfect – can put in new pads – i tend to use Koolstop
The Chain is Wipperman Connex 10 speed, stainless steel
The bottom bracket is a brand new DA bb, never used
Headset is Cane Creek S3 - never used

Deda Newton Elementi 42 cm Bars, also a Deda Newton 120mm stem, I have other shorter stems
Brand new 3T Team Doric in – line seat post
    Selle Italia Flite SLR Saddle

Brand new set of DA cables.
Mavic Ksyrium SL wheelset - I think there are barely used Continental GP 4 season tyres on it.

Will try for some pics tonight from thw home pc.

edit: see pic added, its an older pic, the seatpost and bar tape are different to the above spec.

You may laugh as many others have but I have a the felt road bike and a Cervelo TT bike. I would love a Cervelo road bike but didn't have the money at the time of buying the felt and i know why didnt i hang on and save, i dont have any patience. I now have the money on the condition I get enough for my bike. That's the reason.

    Hi Rcrenier,

That's above my budget. I also just missed out on a Roubaix bike last week that was going for way less than your asking so I'd say you are being optimistic. And it was going with pedals.

Why are you selling so quick?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 76 ✭✭the juice

Thats very nice Rcrenier; im interested in the bike but that price is over my budget?? Where are you and when can i view it??

Well I work in a bike shop and I think the price I'm asking is a very good price, this bike is brand new, if you check that bike on the web will be around 2700, have dura-ace and ultegra 2011, and the reason I'm selling the bike is because I have a few bike and I change my bikes every year for the new models, I built that bike for the winter but I never used, anyway thank you.

Rcrenier, sorry man, didn't pick up that the bike was brand new, thought you meant components etc. So the RPL and ba are probably right!!

    ba, I am mad!!!

Rcrenier, where u based, could stretch a bit cos she is a lovely bike, no question? I'll be doing cash deal and can collect.
