Using a LCD tv as pc monitor

    Hey all,

I'll be building a gaming pc in January and just going though a few bits, the thing I haven't got is space so was just asking if I could use my Philips LCD tv as a pc monitor or is it better to stick to a pc monitor on its own. My tv has pc VGA input.

    Thanks in advance.

It depends on the TV in question.

A 24" TV with 1920x1080 (Full HD) resolution would be absolutely fine. A 32" TV with 1280x720 (HD Ready) would be almost unbearable for day to day use.

    What TV do you have?

    It says:

Panel resolution 1366 x 768p, so it's looks like its a no go.

    Thanks anyway.
