Broken wing mirror

    Hey, I got the mirror (just the glass bit not the casing itself) knocked out of my driver side wing mirror. I still have the mirror and doesn't seem to be damaged otherwise. Does anyone know is it difficult to put this back in?

    Usually the glass comes with a plastic casing stuck on, this clips into the mirror housing,
    Halfords do the, so do main dealers and motor factors. Some factors do mirror glasses that stick onto a shattered mirror. If you don't have the plastic surround with shattered glass attached, these aren't an option

    Hi guys, bumping an old thread here, just wondering if anyone knows how much it is to get a wing mirror replaced on a golf, some guy kicked the wing mirror off at the weekend. We know who did it and he agreed to pay to fix it, so not bothered going around scrapyards or doing it ourselves what would a garage charge? It's hanging off by the wires and it's manual if that helps?
