Drove into my estate last Monday (14th Nov) and what do i see but one of the houses with their christmas decorations plastered all over their house.
Not just lights in the window but the full works, santa on the roof, reindeer on the grass etc...

WTF is wrong with these people its mid November for god sake.
So just wondering, is this the earliest anybody has seen people put their decorations up or can somebody top the 14th of November.

We've the decorations up in the hotel, since mid-week but that's due to the Christmas parties starting. Although in June when they put up the signs advertising Christmas parties, my boss did want to put up a tree! In June!!! I put my foot down and refused to allow it in the bar!

Three years ago I put the tree up the second weekend in November :D. The reason was I was minding my friends little girl for the weekend and I knew she would love putting it up.

Where I was living at the time was facing a main road into Greystones and and I got loads of phone calls from friends basically saying WTF is going on...

I loved having it up for so long, all twinkly and Christmassy!

Don't put them up until early-mid December myself. Other people can do what they want and how they want, don't think theirs anything wrong with these people either. It is only a couple of weeks away when you think about it.
