Still wouldn't pay that, and it's not amazon selling it so I doubt they'll ship it over here.

It's not a good offer at all.

Firstly their original RRP of £831.25 is rubbish. Even the most expensive one (64GB 3G) is £659 from Apple.

Secondly, it's cheaper buy direct from Apple (never mind the probability of much quicker and better after-sales service). Buying from the Amazon reseller ~€529 .. buying same model from Apple.ie direct €479.

Motion to strike the bargain alert! ;)

That comes to 528.96 Euro with p&p

    At harvey norman for €479

it is just like iphone 4 on prepay from all operators - it may be 10-30 euro cheaper but it is locked to operator that sells it, buying directly from apple is cheaper than unlocking it which voids your warranty... (yes, i know, no one buys them on prepay anyway)

I have to keep telling people, on our sister site adverts.ie, brand new iPad2 wifi is often sold between 380 and 420.

mod needs to delete this post, i'd say a lot of people clicking on OP and not reading what you guys are saying and buying it with a mad crazed look on their face and feeling like they got it for half price?!

How come Amazon allow that manipulation of the original sale price?

Amazon haven't done anything with the price. Item is "Dispatched from and sold by Ballicom International. "

Yeah I knew that. Why doesn't Amazon enforce the correct RRP in the listing.

No, it's not. The cheapest pricepoint is for a WiFi iPad - no 3G, no operator, no tie in.

The above link is daylight robbery.
