Can she not bring it back?
Normally they can take it in 2-3 sizes perfectly but it depends on the dress some more and some less.

Wedding dress alterations usually cost around the €200 mark.

mine cost 30 and some shops include it in the price of the dress like dry cleaning the dress it varies hugely.
She really needs to go back to the shop..

If the dress was ordered, then the shop won't take it back. However, they might if it's a sample.

Best bet is to have a word with the shop. Most bridal shops have a seamstress they use for alterations. Depending on the cut and fabric of the dress, 2-3 sizes won't be a problem. I don't know how much alterations are here, but I paid £120 (approx E140) to have my dress altered twice.

Hope it works out for you.
