just to let every one know i bought a cree torch in aldi today..... €13..... and i'm impressed..... don't be afraid to buy one.... it does what it says on the tin... i tested it out back there a few minutes ago..... and its throwing its beam out to 100 yards............ its slightly over an inch tick on the body and only three inchs long...and its rated output is 480 -500 lumen if it could be attached to the .22 it would be ideal... please see clive for advice on that one....

just thought i'd give ya's a heads up...;);)

A LED Lenser scope mount would work perfect with that and if it shines as good as you say sounds like a cheaper alternative to a lenser for your 22 or as a second light for walking. gonna go get one in the morning cheers for the heads up;)

talk about lazy here it is http://www.aldi.ie/ie/html/offers/special_buys3_19337.htm

bought this light myself today not a bad torch at all
il be using it just for walking while stalking in the evenings
theres no focus on it for the beam just zoom
id say you can see quiet a bit if looking through the scope would probably be good to 100 yards

must try and pick up one of them.

Argos have great offers on AA and AAA batteries now that its close to christmas. 12 for 6 on some of the top brands.

just a heads up if anyone wants to stock up for their lights.

Very impressed with this one. Any light that has a "potentially hazardous warning" on it must be good. €13. Bargain.

forgot to mention the light has 3 functions full power half power and s.o.s mode
so might be annoying when lamping if the wrong function comes on lol

If you ring aldi customer support they'll tell you where they are in stock. Did that for wet suits. Great service
