Toshiba laptop stopped working!

    Hey guys,

So my laptop crashed down on me there a few months back and I never did anything about it. But now i'm determined to get it sorted!

So basically, while I had my laptop plugged into my printer via usb, the laptop just froze. Nothing was responsive so I turned it off "the wrong way" as we used to called it. :)

Now when I turn on the laptop I get this message about "Windows has encountered a problem communicating with a device connected to your computer."

Then it goes on about it possibly being caused by a usb device being disconnected while in use by the laptop. Now I can't remember exactly as it was a few months ago, but there is the very real possibility I accidentally disconnected the laptop when I was using the printer!

I can't start the laptop at all. I get that message described above and if I click enter I get the option to launch startup repair (Doesn't work, just brings me to a black screen after attempting to load files or something) or start windows normally, just bringing me back to the screen about the error!

I've tried my recovery discs I got with the laptop but that also just ends in a black screen, no noise of a disc moving as if its launching its application.

If anyone had a solution to this problem, that'd be great. (I said I'd give you guys a shout before I went to the Computer Expert, which equals money, so hopefully one of you can help!!!)

    Thanks a lot for reading!

    Rob
