Irish bank drafts

    Hi,

I'm buying some sports equipment from a guy in the US. He says he'd prefer a personal cheque. Would he be able to cash a bank draft from say the Bank of Ireland? What's the best method of payment. He doesn't use paypall and obviously won't give out his bank a/c details.

I do realise that this may be a stupid question - sorry in advance.:pac:

You can get a USD bank draft from bank of Ireland. Must be made payable to the name on his account as it will be crossed account payee only.

It will take time to clear his end so you could be waiting.
