fusion is federals latest range of ammo. I used it in 6.5 and it performed prefectly well. only stopped using it when I couldnt get it locally anymore.

Changed from Fusions to balistic tip SST ammo. I didn't find the fusion expanded enough for me.

used the 150gr in .308 on deer

Can't comment as to its expansion in 308 but have seen a friend shoot a number of sika with these in 6.5 and if anything it was the opposite, huge meat destruction.
If not dead center chest or angled shot towards far shoulder, always nearly took off the far side shoulder and leg. A few with both shoulders totally destroyed. Hit with these, nothing went very far.

Got them at Crescent Sports in Monkstown.

Ive been using fusion ammo for 4 years now on and off. When my local stockist ran out of stock I went back to federal premiums. Group sizes opened up slightly with the premiums. Im shooting a 25-06. Stocked up on 200 rounds this year of the fusions. Expansion is as expected for chest shots with a decent blood trail. .25 inch groups at 100 yds with 120gn. Not expensive either @€;30

Use them all the time in 150G .308, find them great, every deer dropped on the spot, 1/2 groups at 100 , there €35 at Crescent in monkstown.

in .270 the bullets can break up on impact - IMO pure sh*t stuff.

hi, I had these in .308 150 grain, in a word they are devastating on impact. gave them a spin in the screwgun while giving the tips a little rub with scotchbrite as they looked a little rough, accuracy improved to nearly touching groups at 100. great value IMO

I used 150 in 308. I found them an accurate round and never met a deer that complained.
I have just switched to ballistic tips so I'll have a comparison on wound damage shortly, hopefully :)
