    Who completely missed the 2014 World Cup Draw? I just heard a couple of days ago about our fixture list being organised.

    But I had no clue about being in Germany's group. Was I the only one..?

    Oh and Ireland HAVE qualified !

    Apparently the draw took place on July 31st. I wasn't comatose or in flagranté to my knowledge. t's a real mystery to me how I missed it...:)

    Was on at a weird time, about 9pm on a Saturday, so maybe you were in the pub or something.

    Personally looking forward to the Friendly ties between Serbia and Croatia in group A and the iffy draw that Austria and Germany will almost certainly play out in Irelands group.

    I was sure I'd heard it, but couldn't remember the teams in the group other than the Faroes ('cos of the Brian Kerr connection) and when I saw the fixtures I realised I had no recollection of the draw or where I was when I heard the teams.

    The amount of people Ive heard say this..:eek:
    It was a mix of it being on at a weird time like Saturday night, middle of July when football news apart from summer signings is queit, and people on there holliers.

    Thats definitely a big part of it I'd say :)

    However that doesn't excuse me missing the news. I'm a regular Off the Ball listener and was in Ireland during this time. Yet I have no recollection..:o

    I managed to forget we drew Sweden in the group, I remembered Germany, Faroe's and Kazikastan(sp?) but dont know how I managed to forget them Swede's.
