    Hi everyone,

I have been using a MAC for the last year now, has a good engine in it, good graphics also but haven't gotten round to gaming on it, I've some great games like Age of Empires and World of Conflict as well as Lost World JUrassic Park.

They are all for PC though and don't think they work on MAC, is there a way round this or somewhere I can buy MAC specific games

Steam has a Mac version and a Mac store within it. Handiest place to pick up Mac games tbh.

Have a look at CrossOver, Wine or Cider. Both programs allow you to play PC games on a mac, the latter two is a lot better performance and compatibility wise

A copy of Windows installed under Bootcamp is far, far superior to any of those options. You're almost always better off playing a game under its native operating system.

True but I was only giving the option that doesn't include having to pay for a Windows licence nor install another OS :P

You still have to pay for Crossover and get an inferior product. It doesn't support half the new games, doesn't necessarily play the ones it can play very well and has extremely patchy support if you play non-mainstream stuff. Paying a bit extra for a Windows' licence and having full support out of the box for all games is a no-brainer really.

Installing Windows on a Mac is a doddle anyway.
