I've decided to join the Royal Irish Regiment in the coming years, When I have a wife and kids and since I've to live over in the UK, does the army provide accommodation for you AND your family.

    Thanks.

Being a specifically UKian question, you may better get the full details over on ARRSE.

yep. Spent most of my early years in married quarters as an RAF brat.

RAF, Army and RN all have married quarters, however, be aware that the standard of some Army married quarters is poor - squalid is the word used in the press repeatedly.

    Yes

Your family are permitted use of married quarters as long as you are serving.

    Young Soldier.

So far you've started threads which involved joining the RDF, joining the PDF, the ARW, becoming an Officer in the RIR, wanting to know how hard the Marines are to get into and now you want to know about moving a family, which you don't have, over to England in the event you get into the RIR.

You're obviously a young lad and questions do no harm but don't say something like you've decided you're joining the RIR. Get out there and live your life first, enjoy growing up and concentrate on doing well in school. You'll have plenty of time to properly make a decision when you finish school.

Don't overthink all this stuff. Concentrate on school and enjoying yourself. Once that's out of the way, you can look at becoming a soldier. Focus on the 25m target.
