Hello, having some building work done and wondered if anyone knew best option to go about moving my sky dish. Does it have to be a sky engineer or can I have it done by a local firm and does anyone know of anyone/costs for Dublin 15 area?
    Thanks in advance.

My dish was on the front of the house until a nice neighbour reported it to DCC so had to be moved.
Rang sky €100, " F off you put it there, should have known better, well cancel my sub" "he will be out next week to move it foc".
Firm but polite works, haven't got the money etc.

Im not one to defend sky but in the OPs case, having some building work done, it is a bit much to expect sky to come out free to facilitate this.

I appreciate what you are saying but times are tough and Sky are making plenty of money out of us all, full package over €700 pa for how many years, it's the least they can do. Haggle everything, nothing to loose.
