Following on from the success of its “India Poker Legend” tournament during August 2011, The Shark is glad to announce the highly anticipated next tournament to be held from 25th – 29th January 2012 at Casino Royale, Goa. With over USD 100,000 Guaranteed during the event, this provides poker players an amazing opportunity to travel to Goa during the Republic day weekend.

The five-day poker festival has added 2 new events, a 3k buy-in 2X turbo re-buy to allow players wanting to try their hand at poker in a casino the opportunity to do so and a high rollers invitational only event.

    Tourney Schedule

The organizers are offering an early bird bonus for players registering for the USD 2,000 No Limit Hold’em Freezeout including free accommodation for 2 nights. Please contact the organizers for details.

In addition, The Shark is announced their "Players of the Year" (PsOY) awards with USD 12,000 to be awarded to the top 3 players on the basis of only 4 tournaments to be held in 2012:

    IPL Tournaments in 2012
    - 25th Jan - 29th Jan
    - 4th Apr - 8th Apr
    - 18th Jul - 22nd Jul
    - 26th Sep - 30th Sep

The organizers see India as an emerging, but fast growing poker market and believe that with the entry of APT, India will become a regular stop on the Asian Poker Circuit and other global brands are looking at Indian Poker market in a very serious way.

What use are return flights within india to us?

it would be great to qualify for a decent tournament in india if the package covered flights from europe. Any suitable sats in the pipeline?

Why is theshark site-banned for 'All you do is promote your website, this is against our T&Cs? If you wish to advertise here, please contact hello@boards.ie' according to the Ban List.

He's a poker tournament promoter - and promoting poker tournaments has always been perfectly acceptable (though he could be nudged towards giving more information as per the charter).
Its normal for tournament promoters to only post about their own tournaments and not get involved in much else on the site e.g, users westbury,s.emporium and thejackpot who are not banned nor do they pay for advertising afaik.
