I filed my form 11 online via ROS and printed out the resulting form before I submitted it. Do I need to forward a signed copy of this form somewhere or does the online submission compelte the transaction?

No need to do anything with the printed copy, you have already signed it digitally when you entered your ROS password to "sign and submit"...

In accounting/tax practices, when they are sennding in returns for people as their agents, they often ask the client to sign the printed copy to show that the client was fully aware of what the return contained, and thus avoid potential disputes further down the line.

Thanks - I was confused because of the signature line on the printed copy and the fact that my accountant had requested me to sign the printed copy in previous years as you note.
