I got a 16 bus last night (RV 556) and noticed this plant growing in the lights upstairs.

Looks very like a triffid to me...

Back in the 90s i travelled on a 33 to Skerries and flies and bugs started hatching from the periscope area. (old KD) Mank!

There's some kind of a major problem with the city busses used by Dublin Bus and CIE when it comes to ventilation. A lot of them seem to end up dripping wet with condensation, it's not surprising that plants grow in them!

You'd really think that in this day and age they'd have the ventilation issues sorted out!

It makes urban bus travel really unpleasant.

Part of the problem is the insistence of people in keeping all the windows closed, but yes on a wet day a full bus quickly becomes damn and horrible, wet people getting on, no windows open, heaters rarely on cos it gets pretty hot anyway.

That vine is still pretty impressive though

People keep the windows closed cos it's feicking freezing to have a howling gale blowing through the top deck of a bus, let alone being rained upon inside.
