Will this cut invlove an reduction in entitlement to pension entitlements and why wasnt this cut porposed before the actual election when it could have been agreed by all candidates and be refelected in the legislation which governs the President's salary for the duration of this presidency ?

Maybe a website could be set up where public officials who are on massive salaries or pensions can offer up voluntary pay/pension cuts for period of this crisis. We could call it something call National-Recovery.ie and shame a lot of people into cutting their ourageous "Entitlements". Or maybe we should just call it pigs-might-fly.ie
