Can a HTC Sensation XE be unlocked?

    I'm interested in a Sensation XE but the only network that has it is o2 and i'm on vodafone, can these be unlocked easily enough if I buy a o2 prepay one or can only the network unlock them?

    I saw one video about unlocking HTC, but it was for Wildfire, if i remember correctly the man said that is possible to do it with HTC sensation, just check this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SH7Emx_ZDQU maybe it will help you.

    well i can perform the unlock for you. or show you how to do it - for htc sensation Xe> the thing is that you gonna need unlock the bootloader and root the device. this will void your warranty but it wotn hurt your device(any other unlock then network provider one will void your warranty anyway)! it will open you the world of options! and also if you wanna debrand the phone it can be performed - its very easy - there wont be any logo or apps from o2 etc etc. it will be like unlocked simfree htc sensation XE - with the same OS like before but clean and clear!

    i dont charge anything if you are around in dublin i can do it for you for free / or show it to you mate.
