Urgent help need (car scrappage)

I have a bloke coming to take my car away for scrappage/recyling at lunch time today, do i need any paper work for him or will he have the paper work? I haven't an idea (other than i need a COD cert) is that issued on the spot or posted to me?.. What i don't want is to give him the car and get a phone call three months…

I had someone take my old car away last week, they fill out the certificate of destruction (they supply this) and get you to sign it then give you your copy of it on the spot.

You give them the cars log book ( or licencing cert or registration cert, depends on age of the car)
