sim contacts samsung s plus

Just gor the samsung s new and putting my sim in it doesent recognise or import my contacts, i have an empty contact list but i know the sim is working cause the net works, any way to import from sim or does it have to be done manually does anyone know? cheers in advance

Go to contacts/people and hit menu. Then click on "view". Check sim contxys and should work. I have a different phone but most phones seem to be roughly the same that way

What phone are you coming from? Are you sure your contacts are on the sim in the first place?
