As the title says I'm looking for a couple of good quality, reasonably priced business suits for every day wear. Better than M&S but not a Hugo Boss or Calvin Klein as I don't think they're appropriate for every day wear.

    Any recommendations?

Where are you based? i went to Galvin's in tullamore and got well kitted out there... tried on half the shop (they've a great selection) and settled on a lovely Remus suit for about 300.

I'm in Dublin. Whats the quality of the Remus like?

Excellent given what I paid for it.

Actually, you know I think it may have been even less than 300, now that I think of it.

Probably not worth going all the way to Offaly to buy a suit if you're in Dublin but there are bargains to be found....

I second that, I live in Mullingar and have fount the Galvins there to be particularly good.
You will get personal service there and they have a great selection of Remus suits and shirts. I find Remus suits to be particularly nice. They also have a range of Hugo Boss and other higher end suits. I have yet to find a shop anywhere on the globe with a better selection of casual and formal gear at such reasonable prices. There warehouse sale was amazing. got a nice G-star t-shirt for 20 euro and a lyle and scott one for 15. Tommy Hillfiger jeans were 50 euro and scotch soda jeans were also 50.

I just bought a suit for my wedding from Patrick Sheary, who is on Clarendon Street. Found him by chance, will be using him again.

Got a suit tailored by him to be the best fitting suit I've ever worn. He did the suit, shirt and two ties for me for €400, so I expect you'd get the suit for less than €300, less again if you were going to buy a few. Plus he may have cheaper ones again, I just went for the one I wanted before we discussed prices. I had expected to spend about twice that to get the suit I wanted.

    His number is 6111846

Believe it or not, you can get a half decent one from time to time for very little in Arnotts bargain basement. Got a tux there 2 years ago for 80euro, near enough the same price to rent the thing.

Yeah but a tux is not something you would wear too often, and the design doesn't change over the years.

They do business suits from time to time also. Its luck of the draw. I usually find myself there buying a pair of socks so I can avail of the cheap parking (3 hours for 4euro if you have an Arnotts reciept and present it to the parking office)

But a lot of what they have there can be a bit old man.

The suit shop on the corner of abbey street and o'connell street have great prices and have an offer on now, 2 suits (from a selected range) for E199 but their better quality range is reasonably priced.
