    currently viewing houses in the clonsilla area. we're being very realistic about what we can afford, and what we're willing to pay for the right place.

    and we are definitely not falling for any estate agent BS (which we've already experienced)

    our plan is to live in the house we buy for about 5 years before we probably move out of Dublin

    would appreciate any feedback on areas like allendale, stonebridge, willow wood & lohunda, or anywhere else in the general clonsilla area

    Is renting not an option?
    Leaving the market aside that is a large outlay for five years.

    we're renting at the mo, and are in a position where we can consider buying now

    we would intend renting the house out after 5 or so years rather than selling. though if we're happy in the house/area we could stay long term
