    Very vague, need more info. But there is lots of things you can do.

    where a cow is showing signs of a active heat , mucus, uterine tone etc.... eliciting an additional LH pulse will rarely contribute anything to the reproductive outcome as ovulation is rarely the problem (in that case)
    so yes they work physligically speaking but no they dont make feck all difference to the pregnancy rate, more likely the problem is related to the uterine enviroment, and there is damm all you can do about that!!

    Hi OP,
    is it just a few cows or are you having a bigger problem? If you are having a herd problem it could be anything from bvd to some sort of mineral deficiency. I reckon the best place to start is talk to your vet about blood samples from the problem cows. From those you should be able to find out what's not causing the problem and narrow it down a bit.

    If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

    Funny and all as it is, there may still be helpful advice in the sentiment.
    I've seen several lads blame all sort of reasons on the cow only to find the bull firing blanks!
    Just a thought:)
