This company advertising goods at knock down prices

    What's the catch? According to the ad, some fat man picked up a '42 inch TV for €26.

    Are they goods taken off criminals or faulty?

    I'm guessing you mean one of those online auction sites with the very low prices?
    The catch is that you pay for each bid on an item. It's more like gambling than bidding. They appear to get many times the retail price of the goods on most sales in fees on the bids placed.

    Sites like madbid etc charge you for every bid you make. With each bid, the price might only go up by 1 cent. This means that while the final bidder might very well get a bargain, the auction site will have taken alot on cash from the bidding process given the all the unsuccessful bidders will have contributed via there bids also.
    Fools game really.
