Watched the whole series and recorded it too.

Found it a great insight into the earliest artists right up to the start of the 20th century.
I have to admit I began loosing interest when it reached discussing Jackson Pollock/abstract expressionist stuff and then the pop art thing, but that's just a personal thing.
The series overall was fantastic and another great BBC4 programme
