Im not sure if this is the right place to post this. I was born in the UK and lived their until I was three years old. I now need my vaccination records for these years for a job and don't have a clue how I could access them or if I even can. Don't know the gp just the area in which I lived. This was 24 years ago. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure this potential employer wants to see the actual records of the vaccination ? I have never heard of such a request before as normally you would just be asked what jabs you have had ( reference to Mother usually does the trick ) - clarify exactly what it is you are being asked for.

If they are insisting on the records made at the timen then you may very well have to whistle dixie , can't see how paper records of a quarter century ago would still be available.

Not to mention these records will be difficult to track down if they are still available, but the questions indicated on those forms imply they can't actually request paper records by law, they can only state "has person x suffered from y in the last z years?" and "does this condition impact their professional capacity" and such. Your Doctor can give their professional judgement, that is it. Nobody but your Doctor has the right to fish through these records, even when informed consent is given, this does not actually mean they will be given paper records.

A report of your vaccination levels should suffice.

Get a blood test and get the GP to run it for vaccination levels. They are probably checking for Hep B.
