Dont fancy another 18 month contract (defo not a 24 month) as im not sure if i'll even be still in the country in 18 months.is there a network doing 12 month contracts? I wouldnt mind paying a bit towards the phone if i can get a 12 month jobby.

Looking for the same thing myself at the moment.
O2 are doing 12 month contracts also - the price plans seem to be €5 extra a month if you go for a 12 month contract, plus the phone costs more:

The €15 a month deal Meteor are currently doing for a rolling 1 month contract looks good - if you consider buying an unlocked phone from Apple and getting this deal it might work out better value than the Emobile or O2 12 month contracts (depends on what price you would get the phone for)?

With emobile, the plan i want is 12 months @ €49 per month (Select 300 & Non Eircom customer, 300mins,€300 texts & 2gb data) and the phone is €299.

    €299 + €49*12 = €887

I know buying direct from apple & getting a plan seperate from whoever you choose will still end up cheaper but while i can possibly stump up €299 at the minute,€599 upfront direct from apple is a touch too much (given the time of year & all that)

I think the Select 300 plan is perfect for what i want really.
Do Emobile charge extra for tethering?

I got my 4s on this plan. It's working fine. EMobile advise you "not to tether" but I don't think they try too hard to stop you.
