Employees whose medical insurance premiums are paid on their behalf, by their employer, as a Benefit-in-Kind, will not have been allowed tax relief at source. To claim the relief due it will be necessary to notify your local Revenue Office with the relevant details or by completing your annual tax return.

    thanks very much

do i fill that up now and get the relief every month or should it be done at the end of the year or does it matter?

You don't necessarily need to fill out the Return. If you ring the PAYE enquiry line, they can put it on your credits for you over the phone, as long as you know the figures.

In a lot of cases, the employer includes the Med Insurance on their p35, and the employee automatically gets the credit, so it may br the case that you already have relief.

They will let you know over the phone anyhow
