Degree woes

I finished up with a high 2.1 in a BSc general science degree last year. I've averaged a first in the first two years to boot. I have had severe problems with general commitments and life in general this year, so I could not finish my honours year and I simply didn't hand in the work. I am not content with doing things arseways. Now I am in a situation where I have to pay fees which I can't really afford to complete my last year. I did not follow "procedure" as I don't really like disclosing my private life to strangers. It's too late anyway.

I would appreciate any sort of feedback. Should I do the last year or even a MSc abroad to mitigate the fact the last year has probably been the worst year of my life so far with regards to simply getting by with bills and debts? I am not looking for sympathy here, just a means of turning this mess around. Do employers even care about a masters's degree? Maybe I should just bite the bullet and finish my Bachelors?

    Thanks
