    i downloaded an app called "waze" for free and it looks quite cool


    pretty much free sat nav and its pretty decent for ireland.

    can notify others of garda, camera, accidents, road works and so on.

    great little app i must say !


    theres another thing on it for following groups such as "dublin" or "m1" etc.

    easy enough to make one for boards.ie !

    anyone use this app ?

    shall we get a group going ?

    any other thoughts ?

    someone care to make a boards group ?

    the one's i've seen on it so far are for specific counties like dublin and sligo and the likes.

    Have you got permission from boards admins for such a group? I can see there being serious implications of such a group given the nature of the information this application provides.

    my apologies.

    it was the reason for asking here... i didn't want to just go ahead and use a site name like that and so on so i hoped for feedback here for a go ahead and such.

    if not then im sure we could all just think something else up.

    well asking for someone else to set up a group is taking the easy way out then dude. If you want to speak to the admins yourself work away. I'll reopen this if there's more to add. Otherwise going to close it.
