I have a MBP for the last 6 months, am on my second power cable which has now stopped working. I'm travelling to the US tomorrow and need the power cable. Is there anyone in Dublin I can walk in and have my warranty recognised ? If not, can I buy one in pc world or compub ?

The power cables on these things are great in theory but seem to be pretty poor in terms of build quality.

Its my understanding (But I'm not 100% sure) that CompuB can take care of this once they have the item in stock.

Update: I restarted the mac and the power cable now works. I'm afraid to move it before its fully charged in case it's a fluke. Anyone seen power adapter problems resolved by a restart before ?
