Anyone any recommendations of where is best to go for these? I'm looking for 3 covers for the down stairs and living room.

What are the pros and cons? Can you still dry clothes on them?

B&Q, Woodies good or am I better going with a smaller company?.....two which come up on google search and look decent are:

    Radcovers.ie (based in Lucan)
    Radco.ie (based in Navan)

I'm based in Dublin by the way

    All help welcome, cheers

    Hi,

I bought mine from littlewoods.ie, beautifully finished, white and simple to put together

I found homebase by far the cheapest. ( Up north , but I am sure they would still be the cheapest down here as well)

I am talking about simple raw MDF type, ready for painting. The only snag I would have is that their click system is not very sturdy so glue or a couple of pins would be recommended

A compromise for a rad cover is making a pelmet over the top of one, makes it look neat and you get a shelf space!

Shelf is probably a better idea as a cover will reduce heating efficiency by 20%.
