Do you think our laws protect the homeowner?

I dont think our laws go far enough. I think it should be like in the USA where if someone comes into your house to do you harm then let them suffer the consequences. Im sick of bleeding hearts telling us how the burglar came from a deprived backround, so what who cares i know i dont. Opinions?

Its not like that all over the USA. Sure it is in some states but its not because of federal laws but local laws.

I have to agree if someone came into my house that I would want the ability to protect my family. I probably would take actions to defend my family in case of an attack on my house no matter the legal position. That said if I was at home alone and there was a burglar in my house my first reaction would be to jump out the window and get the **** out of there.

I know they changed the laws slightly here but its still very vague as to how a homeowner can defend their home.
