HEy im trying my best not to replace a trition t80 si pumped shower. Im working in this house and she said could i have a look at the shower while i was adding rads and stuff to a heating system . The flow of water out of the head was dyer . The head of the shower is not clogged . The water had been knocked off for a day so i vented the shower . Still i had terrible flow out of the head . The next day i came back and the shower was continuously running even when powered off .
I reckon i need to replace the solenoid valve to stop the water running continuously , but im thinking if i replace this it still wont fix the problem with the dyer flow (dyer flow is not caused by lack of water in ).
Solenoid is around 50 quid i think .
    Any thoughts??

ps vent/filter part--- when i unscrew this water pours out , even when fully unscrewed , does not need to be pushed to vent .need to change this part too probably, but probably still wont change the flow rate

It might be just dirt in the valve.

Isolate the unit from water and electricity.
'Blow' pressurised water from the mains through it, into the shower head connection and out of the water connection.

Just an idea, no guarantee !

The Triton T80si has no pump. It is designed to be fed from the mains! Perhaps "she" better get someone who knows something about showers!

No, since you aren't pressuring it. You must keep the openings open of course.
