    Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has ever experienced a minimum stay requirement in a country before?

Basically I fly into Lima and make my way overland to Bolivia. Then I fly back to Lima from La Paz for a stopover. I arrive in Lima at 18:15 and fly out again that night just after midnight.....the thing is when I read the small print on my tickets it says 'Minimum stay at the destination:2 days or saturday night'.....does anyone know what that means? Can I be stopped from flying out that night?

Generally what that means is that at that fare you must stay as per the contract with the airline and the agent is not allowed to ticket if those conditions are not met.

If you already have your ticket you "should" be fine as the onus is on the ticketer (travel agent" to adhere to the rules.

well i bought the ticket directly from LAN, along with the connection that night (its all the one e-ticket).

So I'm guessing they wouldnt have sold me the ticket if i couldnt get on their next flight...well i hope anyway....

Thanks for the reply!I had posted on TripAdvisor and no one seemed to know what was going on
