I have had my iPhone 3GS for over 2 years now. I just noticed this morning that my volume control button fell off!

I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know of a quick/cheap fix?

Mine fell off a year ago. You'll manage without it. just have to use touchscreen to adjust volume.

i read on a few sites that you can buy a replacement button and glue it back on. Not sure if this is easy to do though. Has anyone done this before?

Mine fell off. Luckily I caught it when it fell.

Bit of delicate gluing and it is right as rain. If you don't have the piece any more I imagine you could get one cheap on eBay.

Bit of glue to it and you're laughing.

Good news! I purchased that volume control from eBay (€2.55) and glued it back onto the phone. It's a bit more stiff to push up and down, but it does the trick!
