Well for starters "non Irish people" is a mixture of many many people, whom the only thing they have in common is that they're not Irish.

IMO as soon as there stamps run out, they should be run out.. But thats another story. We are ment to be talking about who we Irish hate, because after all, its ok to start a thread about hating Irish people isnt it..

Bit different when we're poking fun at ourselves don't you think?

My point is its picky about anything bad or negative said about anyone non irish on here.

For example, I could post something about Romanian Gypsies on here. Nothing said. But one could easily post something about Africans, polish or other eastern euopeans ... and be met with a ban.

    pick and choose indeed.

No, i'm sorry, this invites others to slag Irish people off, and imo thats not right.

Indeed. With such sound reasoning and critical thinking as:

it really IS a wonder why these threads aren't allowed to continue!

    Ah bloody hell cop on.
So what, its alright for people to make comments, opinions, judgements (etc) about non-irish behind closed doors. But certainly not on a fine upstanding forum such as this

So now the amazing thought process produced by your obviously insanely advanced brain has come to the conclusion that two wrongs make a right!

But most users on this site are Irish. I'm sure it was just meant to pick out general traits that we have, that we are aware of and find annoying.

In that case this thread is to pick out general traits of non irish people. For example alot of romanian gypsies that beg on the streets own quite large mansion like houses back home so thay dont deserve to get a penny..

You're missing my point. As an Irish person I have more authority to be critical of my own people than foreign people. If you generalise foreign people using negative stereotypes that makes you what is called a racist.

Are you actually a child? Why would they come here to beg on the streets and be treated like sh1t by drunken idiots every night when they could be at home in their mansions?

The only general trait about non-Irish people is that they aren't Irish. So there isn't really much to talk about.

Is it really that hard to understand?
'Black' is usually understood to stand for a 'race' of people.
    'Irish' is a nationality.
I think this is a dumb thread, as i think all threads harping on national stereotypes are dumb, but it seems you are failing to understand a key distinction.
The two aren't mutually exclusive, by the way; there are people who could be described as 'black' and also 'irish'.
Therefore, in criticising an 'Irish' person, someone can also be criticising a 'black' person.
Hopefully that provides some comfort to you.

So its wrong for FranOconnor to say anything negative about non-nationals ... while, Someone can now go off and create a thread about the public sector and wish how everyone one of them lost their jobs? You realise Non-Irish people account for 99.93% of the population right?

And all of them have the same traits yeah?

Actually non Irish people don't seem to know that 'The Jacks' means the toilet and I fcuking hate that.

I fuc*ing knew someone would throw that out :pac:
The whole "you're talking about a race" .. well done Ascanbe. You, as a typical PC person, failed to disappoint :)

So, in response I shall throw a question at you ... how come any negative thread or post about Romanian gypsies is not deleted.

How come I can say those Romanian gypsies are a bunch of thieves, moochers and a leech off Irish society (as have many others on here) ... where was those bans? ... where was that censorship?

Don't call me ballsack. Well I have witnessed them being spat on by drunken irish youths so in that case they have earned their money. I think there's more of our own honest hard working irish to keep an eye on than some gypsies selling flowers.
