Hi all, apologies if I'm in the wrong forum for this query, but I recently got a new Sony Ericsson Xperia mobile, & then promptly lost the instructions!! I've also been gifted a MacBook ( three years ago ) from my beloved, but am a technologically inept dinosaur struggling to make it in this IT world!!:o I have the lead to attach the 'phone to the laptop but can't seem to make the 'phone want to download more than one photo at a time. There's gotta be an easier way (& in case ye think I'm completely inept -which I am!- I did ask the aforesaid beloved- who's a complete computer whizz, but he couldn't manage to figure it out either, & he was going to post a query on boards for me, but hasn't managed to get around to it yet, so I thought I'd pop me head over the parapet & try myself!) Any ideas? Thanks a million in advance!:D

I use bluetooth to get pics from my nokia to my mac.
Able to download all selected images

To get pics off my iphone without using itunes or preview I connect the phone to the laptop and then access them via image capture. Just run a search for it using the magnifying glass in the top right corner

It should work the same way for any portable device

Edit. Bluetooth is far handier if not using a iphone

If you plug your phone in, a prompt on the phone should come up asking whether or not you want to mount the phone.

Do this and the phone should come up like an external Hard Drive would.

Failing that, take out the SD card and stick it in a card reader and plug it into the Mac.
