Carl Froch would be unlikely to agree.

I dunno all of Hennessy's big names left him there recently leaving him only with Tyson Fury.

Hennessy is small time thats for sure. But having Fury on Channel 5 is a great idea in fairness

Anyone else feeling old watching Eubank jnr?! I was in milk street for the Collins v Eubank fight. A lifetime ago!

Eubank junior just came into the ring to "Your simply the Best" and he jumped the top rope aswell, if he's gonna make a name for himself he really need to step out of his fathers shadow and be his own man.

used to love Eubank, he played the pantomine villain to perfection

looks like they flew in a bum to fight his son, its a joke

watching this with someone who isn't a boxing fan, and frankly i'm embarrassed

commentators havent even commented on the fact that the lituanian hasnt even thrown a punch

A typical first fight opponent. If he fought a better boxer, it would be too much risk. If he's going to use his dads name, he'll have to expect a harder time from fight fans when he pads his record fighting bums.

Eubank senior was a leg. What a great era for middle weights back then.

Certainly was a great time, I first got into the sport watching his ould fella, Nigel Benn and Steve Collins and the like. Some real wars.

Makes you feel old alright, Eubank snr looked like he was still fighting, not an ounce of fat on the old boy! If he's half as tough as his old man he'll take some beating cause his boxing skill looked good tonight.

The hype around all those Eubank, benn, Collins fights was great. Tyson v Bruno too. Great time for boxing. I always loved Eubank even when he was the baddie!

This was the son he gave away apparently?

Note I read it on a more reputable source at the time!

Thats him, however, both Chris Snr and Jnr deny the story.

Here they are in the post fight press conference.

It's a good platform for Hennessey to reestablish himself, but he needs to get a few more Boxers to. Fury can't just fight every two months on a permanent basis. He would maybe be best served by signing up a few of the amateurs who have failed in their bids to make the Olympics. Then pick up some of the Olympians after the games. Build from the ground up. They could really use another instant main eventer though and I'm not sure where they will find one of those.
