Halfpenny have a deal on R11 3 woods at the moment, down from €249 to €179. Not sure on the rest.

Pure golf shop in Leopardstown Driving Range are selling the R11 Driver for €270. Great deal and seems to be the best around. Have been up there a lot lately but they don't have the shaft I'm looking for. Every time they seem to come in stock they fly out as quick!!!

They couldn't tell me when they are getting more in stock :(

I wonder if there is a new model due out, a number of places are starting to offer reductions on existing R11's. my clubs pro's shop has them reduced to £149 (thats sterling) and from experience though they are quite good you can usually get slightly better elsewhere

The Burner line is being replaced by TM next year but they have been quiet on what is happening with R11. Normally you hear that an updated version is on the way but nothing as of yet.

R13? These guys don't hang around
I love watching all those robotic planks wander back into mcguirks and hand over a third of a decent golf membership sub on one club that (a) they've never hit before and (b) prob won't be able to hit in 2 months time. I'll be buying an R11 off one of these clowns early next yr

Whats wrong with somebody going into a golf shop and treating themselves to a new driver? Not everybody who does believes that its going to make a big difference. A lot of people simply want to treat themselves in a sport which they genuinely enjoy. And who are you to say that they wont be able to hit it in 2 months?
Describing people as "robotic planks" and "clowns" just because they want to buy a bit of new stuff is bang out of order.

    Hi all,

Thanks for the advice. Went out yesterday and bought a 3 wood R11 as I didn't like my old 4 wood. Can't believe the difference. The R11 feels great and hits very long (too long in some cases).

Can anybody give advice in relation to the R11 driver, is it as good as the 3?

    Thanks:cool:

Best of luck with the 3wood! Have tried out the driver a few times and loved it. If you can get to a range which lets you demo the clubs would be best bet. Always try before you buy if you can!

when testing the driver v the 3 wood i found that i was consistently achieving greater yardage off the driver.
this did not surprise me too much though i must add.
