    Sorry, I don't mean to appear unhelpful but you will find a lot of conflicting opinion and experiences regarding SE on here on existing threads. It might be best to read through some of them and make an informed decision before committing to buy.

    I've bought one lens and a friend has bought at least three Canon "L" lenses (big bucks). They are slower than they promise but they did deliver.

    Thanks for the input, she got one locally as she didn't want to take the risk. then of course i went past a different camera shop and they had a sale on, oh well as long as she is happy ah.
